Compost On Your Mind?

Hello and Welcome to C3 Compost! C3 Compost is generated on our fifth generation farm near Wessington, SD. Jeff and Suzanne began farming in 1992. They welcomed three children, John, Mark and Kate. John is marred to Nikiah and they have two children, Dayne and Haddie, They joined the farming operation in 2021. Mark is employed in Brookings, SD. All three have agricultural degrees in agricultural science, business and precision agriculture. Kate is currently attending NDSU studying communication and political science. 

At C3 Compost we are always learning. From compost testing results to what we find within our soil and plants. We decided sharing our story on our blog would be beneficial for those that align with our mission - providing you with a living soil amendment that adds beneficial micro-organisms and nutrients to your soil. 

We value regenerative agriculture. Our goals are to reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers on our crop land and manure management. Through our process of composting we have realized the value and benefits of this process have far exceeded those expectations. C3 Compost is a living soil. Our testing has verified the existence of microbiology and we will continue to monitor our processes to improve on an already good product the plants tell us they like.
